WHICH PARTY IS GOOD?
SPOILER: NONE OF THEM
BJP supporters abuse Congress. Congress supporters abuse BJP. AAP people abuse both. And everyone ignores their own party's scams. Let me give you the full picture.
"You call yourselves voters but you vote like sheep. Same caste? Vote for him. Same religion? Vote for him. Free electricity promised? Done. Development? Who cares! Then you cry when you get thieves as leaders. Son, thieves didn't steal your vote. You gifted it to them."
Political Parties: Same Product, Different Packaging
Every election you're presented with a "choice." BJP or Congress. Regional or National. Left or Right.
This isn't a choice. It's an illusion.
Every party's business model is the same:
- Win the election (by any means necessary)
- Make money in 5 years
- Save funds for next election
- Repeat
Development, welfare, progress - these are all secondary objectives. Primary? Survival and profit.
Party-Wise Reality Check (Don't Share This, Everyone Will Get Triggered)
BJP
Everyone's Support, Everyone's Development (Some People's Development More)
Real Talk:
Biggest beneficiary of electoral bonds. Poster child of crony capitalism. The Adani-Ambani government. Uses 'homecoming' and 'temple' politics to get votes, actual governance is secondary.
Highlights (That Supporters Ignore):
- Electoral Bonds - masterpiece of legal corruption
- PM Cares Fund - where's the audit?
- Pegasus spyware - journalists were being spied on
Verdict: Communalism + Capitalism = BJP model. Development happens - selectively. Mostly for their donors.
Congress
75 Years It's Been Us (That's Why This Mess)
Real Talk:
Ruled for 70 years. Took GDP from $300 to $2000. China in same time took $300 to $12,000. Inventor of dynasty politics. Vote for the Nehru-Gandhi family, work may or may not happen.
Highlights (That Supporters Ignore):
- 2G Scam - ₹1.76 lakh crore
- Coal Scam - ₹1.86 lakh crore
- National Herald
- Bofors
Verdict: Know how to play the 'secular' card. Governance? Not so much. 70 years of track record is in front of you.
AAP
We Are Different (Surprise: Not Really)
Real Talk:
Came from the Anna Hazare movement as 'honest' people. Now stuck in liquor scam. Arvind Kejriwal - from anti-corruption crusader to full-time politician. Giving free electricity and water to Delhi (for votes, not infrastructure).
Highlights (That Supporters Ignore):
- Delhi Liquor Scam - Sisodia in jail
- Mohalla Clinics - numbers inflated
- Bus marshalls - without training
Verdict: Started different. Ended same. Power corrupts - AAP is the case study.
TMC
Mother, Land, People (+ Cut Money)
Real Talk:
TMC rule in West Bengal. Opposition workers die, cases don't happen. 'Cut money' - officially accepted bribe system for any government work. Mamata Banerjee - Didi for supporters, dictator for critics.
Highlights (That Supporters Ignore):
- Saradha Scam
- Narada Sting
- Post-poll violence 2021
- Teacher recruitment scam
Verdict: Brought change from CPM. Now become like CPM. Full circle.
DMK/AIADMK
Tamil Nadu's Family Business
Real Talk:
Same story in the South. DMK = Stalin family. AIADMK = whoever Jayalalithaa blessed. Both have been in 2G scam, land scams, everything. But play the 'Tamil pride' card, votes come.
Highlights (That Supporters Ignore):
- 2G Scam (A. Raja - DMK)
- Disproportionate assets cases
- Land grabbing
Verdict: Regional pride + dynasty politics = same corruption with different accent.
See the pattern: Every party has the same things - corruption scandals, dynasty politics (except BJP, but they have RSS which is similar structure), broken promises, selective development.
The only difference is packaging. BJP sells Hindu nationalism. Congress sells secularism. AAP sells honesty (ironically). Regional parties sell regional pride.
End product is the same: Your money in their pockets.
China: Communists Who Actually Deliver
"China is communist, no freedom, no democracy!" - This is the standard response whenever China comparison comes up.
Agreed. China has no freedom of speech. Censorship exists. Authoritarian government. Human rights issues - the Uyghur situation is serious.
BUT - can we be honest for a second?
China Delivered
- 800 million out of poverty (vs India's 270 million still in)
- 40,000 km high-speed rail (vs India's ~800 km Vande Bharat)
- GDP per capita $12,500 (vs India's $2,380)
- Clean cities - Beijing cleaned up, Delhi getting worse
- Manufacturing hub of the world
- Infrastructure that actually works
India Delivered
- World's largest democracy - but what's the output?
- Freedom of speech - to complain about same problems for 75 years
- Elections - where we choose between corrupt options
- Diverse culture - which politicians exploit for votes
- IT sector - which mostly serves foreign companies
- Jugaad - because systems don't work properly
The point isn't that democracy is bad.The point is our democracy ISN'T DELIVERING.
Democracy doesn't mean vote once in 5 years and sleep. Democracy means continuous accountability. Which we're not demanding.
In China, CCP officials who don't deliver get demoted/removed/jailed. In India, an MP can get re-elected even from jail.
Communists expect accountability. We "democrats" just vote and forget.
Bureaucrats: Bigger Problem Than Politicians
Average File Processing
Corruption at Every Step
Ease of Business Rank
Politicians change every 5 years. Bureaucracy? Permanent.
An IAS officer joins at 25, retires at 60. 35-year tenure. That's why they say "Governments come and go, officials are permanent."
What's the problem?
- No accountability: Official's mistake causes project failure - what happens? Transfer. That's it.
- Job security: Can't be fired easily unless major scandal. So why perform?
- Seniority-based promotion: Work well or don't, promotion comes with time.
- Political interference: Honest officer gets transferred. Corrupt one gets protected.
- Colonial mindset: "Mai-baap" attitude. You're not public servants, you're public masters.
Real story: A friend filed RTI about road construction in their area. Response came after 3 months - "information not available."
Public money built the road. Information "not available." This is our transparency.
Elections: ₹60,000 Crore Circus
2024 General Elections - estimated cost: ₹1.2 LAKH CRORE. World's most expensive election.
Where does this money come from?
- Corporate donations: Electoral bonds situation (now illegal but damage done)
- Black money: Cash that's not in any record
- Foreign funding: Technically illegal but happens
- Previous term's earnings: Whatever corruption happened in 5 years, invest from that
Think - what could ₹1.2 lakh crore have done?
- 50,000 new schools
- 20,000 hospitals
- 5,000 km of highways
- Clean water to every village
Instead - rallies, advertisements, freebies distribution, booth capturing, and "refreshments" for voters.
ROI calculation:Politician invests ₹50 crore in election. After winning, makes ₹500 crore in 5 years (officially + unofficially). 10x return.
Private equity firms give less return than this.
Politics is the most profitable business in India. Governed by criminals, funded by corporations, enabled by your vote.
Center, State, Local - Triple Layer Failure
Central Government
Big promises, selective delivery.
- GDP growth - take credit
- Unemployment - don't even release data
- Inflation - "global factors"
- Petrol prices - "taxes are necessary"
Credit yours, blame someone else's.
State Government
Law & order, health, education - all handled here.
- Police - enable crime, stopping is secondary
- Government hospitals - no medicine, no doctor
- Government schools - no teacher, no infrastructure
- Roads - potholes are permanent features
Affects you more directly, gets ignored more.
Local Government
Ward councillors, municipal corporations - closest to you, most useless.
- Garbage collection - irregular at best
- Drains - blocked, always
- Street lights - "no budget"
- Building permissions - bribe compulsory
Can't even fill the pothole outside your house.
Blame game: Center says it's state's work. State says it's local's work. Local says there are no funds.
Meanwhile, your problem doesn't get solved. File goes from one office to another. You keep running around. Officials drink tea.
Three levels of government = three levels of opportunity for corruption and blame-shifting.
"The Chinese are communists - no freedom, no elections, no democracy. Yet they have bullet trains, you have bullet holes in your footpaths. Their leaders work, your leaders scam. You've lost to communists."
