Listen carefully. It's not an accident that you're too exhausted to think.
It's by design.
If you earn ₹15,000, you think about rent, food, and electricity - not corruption. If you work 12 hours, you can't protest - no time. If your child's school fees are pending, you can't lead a revolution - priorities are different.
They keep you just poor enough to survive, but too poor to fight.
People in China are busy too. So are people in Japan. And Germany. Yet their politicians are more honest. Why? Because people there DEMAND accountability. Here we just accept it. Say "it happens" and go to sleep.
YOUR DAY
- 5 AM: Alarm, no snooze allowed
- 6 AM: Packed train, someone's armpit in your face
- 9 AM - 7 PM: Work. Boss yelling. Overtime.
- 9 PM: Home. Exhausted. Watch TV. Sleep.

- 12 PM: Maybe go to Parliament. Maybe not.

43% MPs with criminal cases. Not allegations. CASES. In court. Pending. Some are even for murder. And you voted for them. Knowingly.

In 2023, India still ranked 111th out of 125 countries in the Global Hunger Index. Poverty wasn't removed; the definition was just changed to make numbers look better.

"Rajiv Gandhi launched the first major initiative to clean the holy river Ganga. Billions allocated."
The Reality
After ₹20,000+ crore spent on Namami Gange (2014-2024), fecal coliform levels in Varanasi are still 100x above permissible limits. The river remains a toxic sewer in many stretches.
Bharat Nirman
The Promise
"UPA government promised basic infrastructure: irrigation, roads, housing, water supply, electrification, and telecommunication for all villages."
The Reality
Rural roads are still washed away in one monsoon. 45% of rural households still don't have tap water connections that actually work reliably.
100 Smart Cities
The Promise
"Modi government promised 100 Smart Cities with world-class infrastructure by 2022."
The Reality
Most 'Smart Cities' just got some painted walls, a few CCTV cameras, and a command center. Basic drainage fails in every monsoon (see Delhi, Bangalore floods).
Demonetization
The Promise
"To break the back of black money, stop terrorism funding, and move to a cashless economy."
The Reality
99.3% of cash came back to banks. Black money just shifted to gold and real estate. Cash circulation is now higher than in 2016. Small businesses were destroyed.
Farmers' Income Doubled
The Promise
"Target set in 2016 to double farmers' real income by 2022."
The Reality
According to NSSO, average monthly income of agricultural households is just ₹10,218. After inflation adjustment, real income has barely moved, while debt has increased.
$5 Trillion Economy
The Promise
"India to become a $5 trillion economy by 2024-25."
The Reality
Missed the target. Per capita income remains lower than Bangladesh and Angola. We focus on the total GDP number while the average Indian gets poorer.
Chanakya Would Be Disgusted
2300 years ago, one man built the Maurya Empire. Today we can't even build working toilets.

I know what you'll do. You'll scroll, maybe share it with "so true" written on top, then open Netflix. Tomorrow morning, same routine. Same bribe given to traffic police. Same vote based on caste. Same "it happens" attitude.
And this website will remain just a website. Nothing will change.
Unless...
Unless you actually do something. Refuse one bribe. Cast one vote after proper research. Challenge one corrupt official. Speak up once when you see something wrong in your locality.
1.4 billion people. If even 1% take this seriously - that's 14 million people. That's enough to change anything.
Be that 1%. Or stay that 99% who complains and does nothing.

Yes, it takes time. Yes, it's irritating. But every ₹100 you pay to traffic police funds the system. Stop funding your own oppression.
VOTE ON MERIT
Check criminal background. Check track record. Caste, religion, free electricity - these should not be voting criteria. That's the recipe for corruption.
SPEAK UP
See something wrong? Say something. Record it. Put it on social media. File RTI. File complaints. Yes, mostly nothing happens. But sometimes it does. Try for that "sometimes."
